The cross-country skiing season culminates in the Finnish Lapland on 6th of April 2024 when skiers all over the world start their journey on the Ylläs-Levi fell to fell route. The competition will be skied on classic and the route goes through beautiful fell landscapes in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, leading the participants through Ylläsjärvi, Äkäslompolo, Kukastunturi and Pyhäjärvi to Levi.
Ylläs-Levi skiing challenge has made plans also for the future: In 2025 both skiing styles will be represented.
The 70-kilometer route from Ylläsjärvi to Levi rewards the participant with its scenery after long climbs.
Those looking for an easier challenge can take part in the shorter 55km ski from Äkäslompolo to Levi that skips the biggest climbs.
The technique in 2024 is classic.
