Experience the unique cross-country skiing challenge Ylläs-Levi
The cross-country skiing season culminates in the Finnish Lapland on 6th of April 2024 when skiers all over the world start their journey on the Ylläs-Levi fell to fell route. The competition will be skied on skating for the first time and the route goes through beautiful fell landscapes in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, leading the participants through Ylläsjärvi, Äkäslompolo, Kukastunturi and Pyhäjärvi to Levi.
Visit Ylläs and Visit Levi are the main organizers of Ylläs-Levi skiing competition, supported by a group of skiing professionals.
Ylläs-Levi skiing challenge has made plans also for the future: In 2024, the race will be tentatively organized on April 6th and the skiing style will be classic. In 2025 both skiing styles will be represented.

Distances
70km
The 70-kilometer route from Ylläsjärvi to Levi rewards the participant with its scenery after long climbs.
55km
Those looking for an easier challenge can take part in the shorter 55km ski from Äkäslompolo to Levi that skips the biggest climbs.
